Every recommendation
shows its work.

Five systems, one job: replace “16–18 lbs, player preference” with a number you can trace back to your own swing. Here’s what each one actually does.

Capture

Swing Scan

Ten swings, read by your phone’s camera and motion sensors. No wearable required, and nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly send a spec to a stringer.

  • InputsCamera (contact point, follow-through) + Core Motion accelerometer/gyro (swing speed, acceleration profile)
  • OutputsSwing speed (mph), spin rate (rpm), contact point offset, shot type (flat / topspin / slice)
  • ProcessingOn-device by default — a scan never needs a network connection to complete
  • Time costUnder 3 minutes for a full ten-swing set
Example scan result

Swing scanForehand · 10/10 read
61mph avg
Spin rate 1,850 rpm · contact +2.1″ late

Recommendation

Tension Intelligence

An exact number, not a range — and the reasoning stays visible so you can check it against what you already know about your game.

  • InputsSwing speed, spin rate, current string age, racquet flex (RA rating)
  • OutputA single tension value in lbs or kg, plus the top factors behind it
  • RevisionRecalculated automatically as swing speed, string age, or racquet changes — not a one-time number
  • Range coveredFull poly to hybrid to multifilament setups, 40–65 lb range
Shown, not hidden: “52 lbs — your swing speed dropped from 66 to 61 mph since your last scan, and your string bed is 34 days old.”

Fit

Racquet Fit Engine

Your string setup can only do so much if the frame underneath it is already working against your stroke. This checks that before it becomes your problem.

  • ComparesHead size, static weight, swing weight, and RA (flex) rating against your stroke mechanics
  • FlagsWhen your current frame’s swing weight has drifted out of range for your measured swing speed
  • Doesn’t doPush a racquet purchase — it flags a mismatch, the decision to change frames is yours
Example flag

Network

Certified Stringer Network

A directory doesn’t tell you if the tension you paid for is the tension you got. Machine calibration and turnaround, tracked per stringer, does.

  • Every listing showsMachine type, last calibration date, median turnaround, rating
  • Job handoffQR-coded spec sheet — string, tension, pattern, and your notes, no re-explaining at drop-off
  • BYOSBring your own strings, or select from the stringer’s stock at booking
  • Commission0% on repeat clients booked directly through a stringer’s profile

Outcomes

Match & String Log

“What’s actually working” stops being a guess once tension, string age, and breaks are sitting next to your match results instead of in your head.

  • LogsTension at time of match, string age in days/hours played, break count
  • AgainstMatch results and your own notes on how the racquet felt
  • SurfacesPatterns — e.g. a setup that correlates with more unforced errors as string age passes a threshold
